2027 Cadillac Lyriq: What Changed, What Stayed, and What to Know

Walworth County drivers ready for an electric Cadillac will find a native NACS charge port on the 2027 Lyriq, and Kunes Chevrolet Cadillac of Delavan can walk you through every trim.

The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq is a light update to Cadillac's electric SUV. The biggest change is a native NACS charge port. New exterior colors and interior materials arrive, the torque-rating badge is gone, and the augmented-reality head-up display is now standard only on the Lyriq-V. The Lyriq still rides on GM's BEV3 platform and is built in Spring Hill, Tennessee. (The details below reflect what Cadillac and GM had published as of mid-October 2026; ask us to confirm any specific Lyriq.) Here is what changed, what carried over, and what the lineup looks like.

2027 Cadillac Lyriq Changes vs. 2026

The headline change is a native NACS charge port. It replaces the CCS port and lets the Lyriq plug into Tesla Supercharger stations without an adapter. GM has said all of its 2027 models will get the port.

Cadillac also added new exterior paint options and a handful of new interior paint and material choices, and it deleted the torque-rating badge. The augmented-reality head-up display, which was standard on the Signature trims for 2026, is now standard only on the Lyriq-V and Lyriq-V Premium. GM Authority also reports that the 2027 Lyriq will be GM's last EV to offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which remain available in wired and wireless form.

What Stayed the Same

The Lyriq keeps its BEV3 platform and its powertrain choices, with output ranging from 365 horsepower on the single-motor rear-wheel-drive models and 515 horsepower on the dual-motor all-wheel-drive models to 615 horsepower on the Lyriq-V. Every trim except the Lyriq-V comes with rear-wheel drive and offers all-wheel drive as an option, and the Lyriq-V has all-wheel drive as standard.

Range and Charging

Cadillac lists an EPA-estimated 326 miles of range for rear-wheel-drive models and 285 miles for the Lyriq-V, so ask us for the rating on all-wheel-drive models. DC fast charging peaks at 190 kW, which Cadillac says can add up to 86 miles of range in about 10 minutes. Every trim has an 11.5 kW onboard AC charger, and a faster 19.2 kW module is available on the Premium and Signature trims.

Interior and Technology

The Lyriq's 33-inch Horizon Display with 9K resolution spans the dashboard, and Google built-in with the Google Gemini voice assistant is standard, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, and a digital key with an NFC key card. Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is standard with a three-year OnStar One plan, and every trim has Adaptive Cruise Control and Cabin Glance.

Comfort features on every trim include eight-way power driver and six-way power passenger seats with heating and memory, a heated steering wheel, and Inteluxe seating. A SkyGlass roof with a power shade is standard on the Luxury and Sport.

Design and Lighting

Choreographed exterior lighting plays on approach and exit, an illuminated black crystal grille and front Cadillac crest anchor the front end, and 126-color dual-zone Radiance Lighting wraps the cabin. The Luxury has Galvano Chrome detailing on 20-inch split six-spoke wheels, the Sport has Obsidian Chrome detailing with a sport grille on 20-inch 12-spoke wheels, and the Signature trims move up to 22-inch wheels.

2027 Cadillac Lyriq Trims

The 2027 Lyriq comes as the Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, Premium Sport, Signature Luxury, and Signature Sport, plus the performance-focused Lyriq-V and Lyriq-V Premium (covered on our Lyriq-V page). The Luxury and Sport are the entry points, the Premium trims add upgraded audio and seating, and the Signature trims sit at the top of the non-V lineup. A black-painted roof is optional on every non-V trim and standard on the Lyriq-V.

What Each Trim Adds

The Luxury and Sport come with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive system, 190 kW DC fast charging, an 11.5 kW onboard charger, and available all-wheel drive. The Premium Luxury and Premium Sport add a 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system with available Dolby Atmos, next-generation active noise cancellation, ventilated and massaging front seats, a Rear Camera Mirror, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Signature Luxury and Signature Sport add 22-inch wheels, heated rear seats, tri-zone climate control, a cargo cover, and illuminated sill plates, and Nappa leather seating is available.

2027 Cadillac Lyriq Price

Cadillac lists the 2027 Lyriq at a starting price of $59,400 for the Luxury with rear-wheel drive, before the $1,795 destination charge. All-wheel drive adds $3,500, and starting prices do not include options, so many vehicles on our lots cost more.

Hands-Free Driving With Super Cruise

Super Cruise is Cadillac's hands-free driver assistance technology, and on the Lyriq it comes standard with a three-year OnStar One plan. Paired with Adaptive Cruise Control and the Cabin Glance feature, it is designed to take some of the work out of long drives, and it is one more reason the Lyriq suits road trips as well as commuting.

What to Know About Lyriq Range

EPA-estimated range depends on the trim and the drive system. Cadillac's 326-mile figure applies to rear-wheel-drive models, and the Lyriq-V is rated at 285 miles. Real-world range varies with speed, temperature, wheel size, and how you drive, so ask us for the exact rating on the trim you are considering and how it compares with your daily routine.

Lyriq or Lyriq-V?

Choose the standard Lyriq for range and everyday comfort, with up to 326 miles in rear-wheel-drive form, a choice of six trims, and prices that start at $59,400 before destination. Choose the Lyriq-V if performance comes first: it has dual-motor all-wheel drive standard, Brembo front brakes, and a Cadillac-estimated 615 horsepower in Velocity Max, and its range is 285 miles. Both share the 33-inch display, Super Cruise, and NACS charging.
